Comments:
  1. The constant changes to their (ever so mysterious) payout scale and CTRs that vary all over the place – making it impossible to reliably forecast any sort of revenue stream.

  2. Realizing that for at least the last 3-4 years, Adsense revenue for publishers has dwindled down to near-nothing – much like domain parking, it’s the last resort for monetizing a web site or domain name. Go for self-managed affiliate relationships…. we quintupled our revenue simply by doing a few hours of initially affiliate program selection and tuning for our site.

Get the best of both worlds by using Google Ad Manager to rotate your own affiliate ads and have the remainder of available “slots” filled by Adsense…

  3. Well, they pretty much were the reference for CPC earning and making money off parking domains with a minisite, but now you’d be lucky to recover your domain renewal fees with all they’ve (un)done to AdSense in the last few years :(

  4. The just released news about changes to AdMob which Google purchased and is now more than ever fragmenting…
