So, unless you were living under a rock in the last few years, you know that Google acquired AdMob back in November 2009 for about $750 million…

Just a couple of days ago, Google officially announced via the mobile ads blog that AdMob will soon be supported exclusively for in-app ads; all other mobile web (ie browser) advertisements will be provisioned using the AdSense network.

Is this the beginning of AdMob as a platform and the migration of their expertise and code into the AdSense name? Discuss below.

    I’m pretty convinced Google will migrate everything under the AdWords / AdSense banner since that is where all their other ad products are… oh wait, what about Doubleclick stuff…. oops. :)
